Hi, I’m Mick Simpson – blues and rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter from England.

I started out in the early ’80s as a session guitarist in London, and over the years I’ve had the honour of working with artists like Roger Waters, Tina Turner, Bryan Adams, and Bill Wyman. One of my career highlights was performing at B.B. King’s 80th birthday celebration in New York.

In 2005, I released my debut solo album Hard Road, followed by Cruel World, Unfinished Business, and Black Rain. My music blends emotional blues guitar with rock, soul, and roots influences – inspired by legends like Gary Moore, B.B. King, and Peter Green.

Whether on stage or in the studio, my goal is simple: to play from the heart and share music that means something.
